The Düsseldorfer advertising-pope and ARTronaut Charles Wilp planned to establish a press-club on the moon for the year 2007 and wanted to present 2,500 new colors. Colors, which are only in space. Unfortunately he died at the 2nd of January 2005.
I got him to know as a lovable and inspirational person.

The wideness of the world wide web took me to the internet presence of the artist Ina Rathje in this year. She is living in Lübeck. ... and what did I see in "dates"? Moonshadow - 02.08. to 31.10.2020 - Interspacige exhibition on the moon.

There is someone else living with visions. Visions, which are very close to mine. Visions, which are worth to act out! I decided straight away to get in contact with her and was looking for ways to let this vision become a feasible reality. That’s the reason, the common project "MOONomenta 2020" began.

Charles Wilp made a very personal and valuable gift to me by giving me one of his art sheets, which flew during the "second German Spacelab-mission D-2" on board the space shuttle Columbia in 1993. I will digital rehandle his work and it will be an inherent part of the 1st art-exhibition on Moon "MOONomenta 2020" in his honor.

For me MOONomenta 2020 is not only the first extraterrestrial art exhibition, at the same time it is the first "Charles Wilp memory exhibition on the moon".
